Earl Stanley Phillips, 88, of Akron, passed away on December 27, 2015.
He was born in Northampton, Ohio on November 7, 1927 to the late Harley and Gertrude Phillips. Earl proudly served in the Army and the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was the owner of George Folk Auto Body Supply Company for over 50 years. In his free time, Earl loved golfing and he once won the Annual Ohio Lefthanders Golf Tournament.
Earl was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elaine, his parents and ten brothers and sisters. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Dennis and Randy (Nancy); grandchildren, Jennifer, Aaron (Megan), and Niki (Steve); and great-granddaughter, Elaina.
