"Grandpa", Tracy, an aged resident of Johnson county, was struck by a Missouri Pacific train at his home near Stilwell, Kansas, and instantly killed Thursday morning, April 13th. Mr. Tracy was ninety-three years and two months of age. As his hearing was very poor he probably did not hear the approaching train. He has made his home with his son, A. C. Tracy, near Stiwell, for many years. Mr. H. E. Tracy, who is bookkeeper for J. H. Cosgrove and Son, is another son, and Mrs. Ella McConnell,, who lives seven miles east of Olathe and E. S. Tracy are other children. The funeral services were conducted from the residence at eleven o'clock Saturday morning, the Odd Fellows having charge, and the remains were brought to Olathe for burial.
