Obituary for Ann Jane Stilley

The funeral of Mrs. Ann Jane Stilley, wife of James Stilley, was held at the country home north, of Olathe Friday, January 29. Rev. R. P. Stephenson conducting the service. Mrs. Stilley died on January 28 after a brief illness from paralysis. She was in her 78th year having been born on November 23, 1825, in Maryland. When a girl she moved to Ohio with her parents. In 1847 she was married to James Stilley and in 1882 came to Kansas. The deceased had been a member of the Baptist church for over 50 years. Her husband, C. W. Stilley, her son and a brother Thos. J. Davis of Union City, Ind., survive her.
