Obituary for Gary Conrad Dahmer

GARY C. DAHMER, 72, passed away at home in Olathe, KS on May 25, 2011.

Gary was born December 30, 1938 in Independence, MO to Lester and Lorena Dahmer. He proudly served our country in the US Navy. Gary worked as an air traffic controller until 1981, then he joined the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office where he retired after 20 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Barbara, his children Darla Bean of Carrollton, TX, Brett (Kimberly) Dahmer of Lansing, KS, and Jessica (Teague) Williams of Sioux Falls, SD, six grandchildren Gregory Bean, Travis Bean, Matthew Mowery, Nicholas Mowery, Kyle Williams, and Samuel Williams. Gary is also survived by his brother Grant Dahmer, sister Vickie Wilbert, both of Pittsburg, KS, and sister Lisa Keller of Sedalia, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents.
