WILLIAM I. SHETTERLY.
William I. Shetterly was born Oct. 25, 1858, at Hartford, Warren county, Iowa. Here he lived until he was twenty-one years of age when he married Miss Addie Anderson. To this union, five children were born, three girls and two boys as follows: Mildred, Myrtle, Frankie Leon, Daniel Rosco and Roy. Mr. Shetterly is survived by an aged mother and one brother, Clarence, in addition, a host of other relatives and very warm friends. At the age of eighteen years he was converted and became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. He was honest and upright in all his dealings and was held in high esteem by all of his acquaintances. He was kind and obliging and did no little amount of good in this world. By his industry and thrift, coupled with his ability for good management and hard work, he had been able to accumulate considerable property. His death occured at Indianola, Iowa, Sunday, September the 28th.
