DIED.
At the family residence in this city on Tuesday, the 12th inst., Miss Helen Belts, aged 21 years.
The unpitying form of Death has again entered the home of our beloved fellow citizen, Mr. W. 1L Betts, Cashier of the Patrons Co-operative bank, and robbed the family circle of one of its brightest jewels. Miss Helen Betts has for several months been afflicted with that most relentless of all diseases, consumption, and while it was known by all the friends that her early existance would be of short duration, the sad sad blow is felt as keenly as though it not been anticipated. While in health she was of a buoyant disposition and always happy when she was contributing to the pleasure and happiness of those with whom she was associated.
Her death occurred on Tuesday afternoon and the last sad rites will take place at the family residence this morning at 10 o'clock. We but echo, the voice of the entire community in extending to the bereaved family the heartfelt sympathy of the people.
