Obituary for Rosalie M Hake

AUSTINTOWN - There will be services at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens Chapel for Rosalie M. Hake, 62, who died early Saturday morning at her residence.

Rosalie was born May 17, 1953, in Youngstown, a daughter of Andrew and Pat Ialungo DeLorenzo.

Rosalie was a 1971 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. She had an associate degree as a Dental Hygienist. She was a District Manager and financial advisor for Primerica Insurance Co. and then Director of Synergy, a home health care company in Phoenix, retiring in April of 2013.

Rosalie was a member of the Independent Methodist Church in New Castle, Pa. She enjoyed making ceramics. She also enjoyed swimming and playing racquetball, and she especially loved being with her grandchildren.

Rosalie’s husband, Herbert E. Hake Jr., whom she married May 10, 1994, died Feb. 15, 2013.

Rosalie is survived by her mother, Pat DeLorenzo; her sons, William L. (Jennifer) Hunter lV of Chicago and Joseph P. Hunter of Youngstown; her stepdaughter, Claudia J. (Richard) Bistyga of New Castle; her brother, William A. (Dawn) DeLorenzo of Canfield; her sister, Maryann Gay of Phoenix; her grandchildren, Leah Rose Hunter, William L. Hunter, V, Michael J. Hunter, Erin L. Perez, and Nicole A. Frasso; and nine great-grandchildren.

Besides her father and husband, Rosalie was preceded in death by her stepson, Jeffrey L. Hake.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
