CUYAHOGA FALLS -- David R. Enlow, 73, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2015.
Born in Akron on February 14, 1942 to the late Daniel and Bessie Enlow, David was a graduate of Garfield High School and Hammel Business College. He retired in 2000 after thirty five years from Charter One Bank (formerly First Federal Savings & Loan of Akron), where he worked as the Mortgage Loan Manager for the Akron area. David served his country as a member of the Ohio National Guard. Dave was an avid sports fan and most loved the Buckeyes, Indians, and Browns. He was an avid fisherman and loved to work in the yard.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Dale. He is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years, Kathleen; sons, Greg and Jeff Enlow; niece and nephew, Cindy (Jim) Hampshire and Scott Enlow; as well as his beloved Corgies Mollie & Austin.
The family will receive friends Friday, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greater Akron Autism Society, 701 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44311.
