Bobby C. Turner, 78, went home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2015.
He was born on May 30, 1937 in Rome, Georgia to his parents, Roy and Lovey Turner. Bobby worked at Akron Land Fill. He suffered with cancer for the last seven years. He resided in Akron, Ohio with his son, Anthony and his wife, Lorie Turner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bessie Turner.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory children, Anthony (Lorie) Turner, Patricia, Eddie, Angela all of Akron, Cynthia of Cleveland and Samantha of Illinois; twenty six grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, 940 McKinley Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will receive friends from 12:30 until time of service, Pastor Lorenzo Glenn officiating. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Condolences can be sent to 840 Wall Street, Akron, Ohio 44310.
