Bernice Glover, 85, went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2015 at her residence in Akron, Ohio.
She was born on April 10, 1930 in Meridian, Mississippi to General Robinson and Mamie Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmy Glover; son, David; daughter, Bobbi Jean; brothers, Walter Robinson and Eugene Tressell; and grandson, David. She leaves to forever cherish her loving memory, sons, Johnny, Ricky, Jim (Julie), Jerry and Eugene Glover; daughters, Debbie Glover and Denise (Leonard) Watson; sisters, Mary Wright and Virginia Guthrie; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Church Of God Militant Pillar and Ground of Truth Church, 200 Cole Ave., Akron, Ohio 44301. Family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of service, Pastor Henry Brunson officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences can be sent to 1306 Bellows Street, Akron, Ohio 44301.
