Alexander E. Kaso

BOARDMAN - Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home for Alexander E. Kaso. He passed away at his home on Wednesday morning.
Mr. Kaso was born June 16, 1933, in Smock, Pa., a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Nahory Kaso.
He joined the U.S. Navy and after serving his country, he came home and had worked for many car dealerships including Passerelli Brothers. He opened his own body shop ³Al Kaso Body Shop² in Cornersburg and operated it until he sold his business in 1994. Later, he went on to worked for Circuit City and later for Boardman and Austintown Schools, retiring in 2011.
³Al² was an avid Browns, Buckeye and Boardman Spartan fan.
Surviving him is his wife, the former Janet Scharsu, whom he married May 28, 1960; a daughter, Sharon Kaso of Boardman; several nieces and nephews; also his dogs, Bella and Chloe.
Preceding him in death, besides his parents, is a son, David E. Kaso; three brothers, James, Edward and Joe Kaso; and two sisters, Mary Tomaskovich and Elizabeth Kovacs.
Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., both
at the funeral home, 8536 Market St., Boardman.
