Obituary for JANE ELDORA JOB
Jane Eldora Job passed away on Saturday, February 7, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA. She was the wife of Richard Job and the mother of two daughters. Jane was born in West Sweden, Wisconsin, on January 21, 1942, she was the daughter of Arvid and Ruth Friberg. She attended Frederic High School in Frederic, WI, and graduated in 1959. Jane attended Michigan Technological University where she met Rich; they were married in May 1962 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated with a B.S. in Business Management from Northern Michigan University in 1981.
Jane worked at Ferrellgas as well as working various retail positions throughout her career. Jane took great joy in volunteering her time at numerous hospitals including the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO and at the Perky Hawk coffee shop in Ankeny High School. She loved watching sports and cheered for the Duke Blue Devils, Minnesota Vikings and the Winona State Warriors just to name a few. Some of her favorite times were spent playing games with and watching all of the activities of her five grandchildren.
Jane is survived by her husband Richard Job; daughters, Reba Henze (Ken) and Sara Doruska (Tom); grandchildren, Molly Doruska, Rachel Henze, Erin Doruska, Aidan Doruska and Paige Henze, all of Ankeny, IA; sister, Carol Sawyer (Chippewa Falls, WI); brother, James Michaels (St. Charles, MO) and numerous relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015, at 10:30 am at Our Lady''s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Ankeny, Iowa with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015, from 5 to 7 pm at Ankeny Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be made out to the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri.
