Obituary for Richard F. Sacerich

Richard "Dick" F. Sacerich Richard "Dick" F. Sacerich, 76, a longtime resident of Wickliffe, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, after a short hospitalization. He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Mary Markushic; and brother Joseph. He is survived by his family which was very important to him. He was married to his best friend Margaret Meyers for over 56 years. His children, Cheryl and husband Ulli, Rich and wife Beth, Debbie, Scott and wife Trish; grandchildren, Rich and Kathryn and AJ and Sam; and great grandchildren Richie and Lorelei. He will be missed by sisters, Catsy Bole, Milldred Kent, Barbara Carlisle; and brothers, George, Robert, Nicholas Krajacich; and cousins, Tim and Terry Markushic. He will be missed as a friend to very many others. He graduated from Collinwood High School, and worked as an electrician at Republic Steel until he retired. He enjoyed sports and participated, coached, and managed various softball teams. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and enjoyed the comradarie of the Wickliffe Senior Center where he was in the 300 Club seven times for wii bowling. He was an avid Buckeye fan as well as supporter for his grandchildren''s sports and activities. He was a giving spirit that was always available to help others. Not just our father, but we are all proud to call him our friend. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 14, at Orlando Donsante Funeral Home,  from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Monday, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Avenue, Wickliffe, with burial at Western Reserve Gardens in Chesterland to follow. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Vincent De Paul Society at Mt. Carmel or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society -
