Keith Delano Thompson, Jr. "Junior"
Keith Delano Thompson, Jr. "Junior", was born on a military base in Wiesbaden, Germany, April 23, 1989. The Heavenly Father embraced Keith on August 17, 2014 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
His memory lives on through his mother, Allison Thompson (Mark) Lewis; father, Keith D. Thompson, Sr.; sisters, Aireka Thompson, Jewel Hopson; twin sister, Raediance Thompson; girlfriend, Jasmine Irby; grandfather, Allen (Nadyne "Big Mama") Hopson, Sr.; grandmother, Marilyn Williams; and countless family members in St. Louis, Missouri and Akron, Ohio.
He was an active member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, marching for the Lord on the drum line participating in many parades throughout his home town of Akron, Ohio. Keith was an athlete playing basketball and football for Akron Pee Wee and Walsh Jesuit High School. He was well loved both on and off the field.
"Junior" graduated from the University of Dayton, where he was co-facilitator of Presidents'' Emissary, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Pratt & Whitney immediately upon graduation.
Keith''s homegoing celebration will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at The Celebration Church, 688 Dan Street, Akron, OH 44310 at 11:30 a.m. where family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Pastor R. Stacey Jenkins, officiating. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1598 Herkender Street, Akron, OH 44310.
