Obituary for Glen E. Thompson
Glen Edward Thompson, 90, formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on Saturday, August 2 after an extended illness. Born in Akron, the son of the late Marion and Carrie Thompson, Mr. Thompson had retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber after 44 years of service.
In 2003, he was preceded by his wife of 58 years, Joyce. His survivors include daughters, Patty Woodring of Montgomery, Ala., Shirley Ann (Malcolm) Marks of Houston, Tx., and Deborah (Randolph) Kaser of Middlefield, Oh.; grandchildren, Tracey (Wade) Hartley and Lisa (Bryan) Stone; great grandchildren, Kirstin Batcho, Kane, Izaac, Cooper, and Lincoln Stone. His grandson, Craig Batcho preceded him in death.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91) where a funeral
