Obituary for Carolyne M Logan

Carolyne Marie Logan (Carrie Bell) made this transition from this earthly life to the next on July 21, 2014.  Carolyne (Carrie Bell) was born July 27, 1932 to Herman and Minnie Douthard.  She was lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio, she attended Akron public Schools-Robinson, Goodyear, and graduating from East High School.  Throughout her life she was a very photo genetic person and good cook especially her macaroni and cheese. She was employed with Akron City Hospital for 25 years and Akron General Hospital for 15 years until her retirement.  Her greats love was her family.  She also enjoyed receiving cards, reading, and action movies with some type of “shoot’em” up in it was her all-time favorite.

Carolyne is preceded in death by her parents, husband Archie Logan Sr.  She leaves to cherish her memories her children Andre Blowe Sr., Brenda (Leroy) Vinson, Gery Blowe, Archie Logan Jr., step daughter Anna (Sissy) Bland; six grandchildren Andre Jr. (Aisha) Blowe of South Carolina, Jason (Nicole) Blowe of Cleveland, Erris (Maceo) Clinkscale, Alyce Vinson of Akron, OH, GeNee’ K Blowe of Birmingham, AL; 11 great grandchildren; sister/best friend Alice (Aunt Peach) Roberts; special relatives Alford “NuNu” Terry, Reed “Spoon” Whitherspoon a host of family cousins and friends.

Services will be held Monday, July 28, 2014 12p.m. at Stewart and Calhoun Funeral Home 529 W. Thornton St. Akron, Ohio 44307. Rev. Lorenzo Glenn officiating. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 921 Baird St, Akron, OH 44306.
