Obituary for Ruth M. Oligny
Ruth M. (Lane) Oligny, 90, of Wickliffe, passed away May 15, 2014 in Cleveland. She was born Dec. 13, 1923 in Portland, Tenn. She had lived in Wickliffe for the past 58 years. Mrs. Oligny was a member of the Mentor Church of Christ. She had been employed as a salesperson for Value City Furniture in Euclid. She is survived by her children, David (Robin) Oligny and Ellen (Steve) Blakemore; three grandchildren; brothers Robert, Noel and Howard Lane; and sister, Diana Link. She was preceded in death by her husband Armand Oligny in 1974; and brothers Buford, Thomas, Harry Gale and Norman. A Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the funeral home. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Twp. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations in Ruth''s memory to the Mentor Church of Christ or Hospice of the Western Reserve.
