Obituary for Mary E St. Clair

MARY E. ST. CLAIR
 

 

POLAND-There will be services at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel, for Mary E. St. Clair, 87, who died Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Mary was born Jan. 4, 1927, in Cumberland, Md., a daughter of Charles R. and Vernie E. Davis Hipsley.

Mary was a homemaker. She was of the Protestant faith, having been a member of both Christ United Presbyterian and Westside Baptist Churches.

Mary was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary No. 58 of the Scottish Clan, a past president of Scotia, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Garden Club. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing and also enjoyed baking.

Mary’s husband, Lawrence S. St. Clair, whom she married Sept. 14, 1946, died July 4, 2002.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Diane (Bob) Constance, and Nancy (Dave) Laverock, both of Boardman, and Twila (Bill) Harker of Poland; her sister, Geny Boyd of Bedford, Pa.; her grandchildren, Eric (Cindy) Constance, Megan Laverock, Alicia Harker and Ian Harker; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, prior to the service.
