Obituary for Donna Richards
Donna M. (Izett) Richards, age 83, of Mentor on the Lake for the past 54 years, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at Golden Living Assisted Living in Kirtland. She was born February 8, 1931, in California, PA. Mrs. Richards was a retired Sales Associate with the former Joseph Horne''s Department Store at the Great Lakes Mall for 15 years, prior to that she taught Elementary School in Somerset Twp., PA, Euclid, and Mentor. Donna was a graduate of Bentleyville High School, class of 1949; California State Teachers College, class of 1953, with a Bachelor of Science in Education. Survivors include her husband of 60 years H. Francis Richards; daughters, Gyneth Richards of Phoenix, Allison Theile of Cincinnati; granddaughter, Megan Theile; sisters, Jean Chilbert of Madison, Sonja (Roger) Pierce of Concord Twp; and brother, Keith (Stefani) Izett of Trabuco Canyon, CA. Preceding Donna in death are her parents Esau and Beulah Izett; sister, Audrey (Howard) Street; son-in-law, Glenn Theile; and brother-in-law, Joseph Chilbert. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at Faith Community Church, 5885 Hopkins Rd., Mentor. The family will receive friends Monday 5 to 8 p.m. at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp., OH.
