George Kotsatos, 85, of Tallmadge, passed away March 19, 2014.
He was born in Greece on September 9, 1928 to the late Vasilis and Maria Kotsatos.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John; brother-in-law, John Skeriotis; and sister-in-law, Anastasia Skeriotis.
George is survived by his wife, Maria, of 55 years; children, Kathy (William Baus) Kalantzis and Bill (Michelle) Kotsatos; grandchildren, George, Mariana, Christina and Nicole; brother, Nickolas; sister, Panagiota (Michael) Kaza; brothers-in-law, Kosta (Stamatia) Skeriotis, Theodore (Katina) Skeriotis and Modesto (Stella) Skeriotis; sister-in-law, Angie Skeriotis; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, March 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a Trisagion Service being held at 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 South Union Ave., Akron, Ohio, on March 22 at 10 a.m., with Fr. Jerry Hall presiding. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery
