Kenneth L. Graham
Kenneth Lamar Graham, 81, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2014.
He was born and lived in the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls areas. He attended Cuyahoga Falls High School, served honorably in the United States Air Force, and was especially proud of his service to our nation as a member of the honor guard at the inauguration of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. This experience fostered a life-long interest in World War II history and memorabilia; he was an avid collector of Aviator insignia. He was employed and retired from both Firestone Tire and Rubber and Acme of Akron.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara J. Graham; children, Valerie (Daniel) Wallace, David L. Graham, Karen Hogler, and David Pagano; five grandchildren; brothers, Donald Graham and Daniel Graham; and sisters, Leona (Donald) Johnson, Jennie Lance, and Kathleen Platt.
Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following, with Rev. Pete Macaulay officiating. A private burial service will be held at Chestnut Hill Cemetery for the immediate family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Allenside Presbyterian Church, 410 Rexford St., Akron, OH 44314, in memory of Kenneth.
