Tonya Denise (Sommerville) Gooden
Tonya Denise (Sommerville) Gooden was called home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2014, at the age of 59, after a short illness, surrounded by her family and friends and is now rejoicing in heaven.
Tonya was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Pauline Sommer-ville; brothers, Donald Robinson and Richard Sommerville (Rashad Ali); left to cherish her memory ex-husband, Darnell Gooden; siblings, Minister Shirley Shavers, Minister Janice Johnson, Donna Thomas, Patricia (John) White, Sandra Duncan, Andrea Sommerville (Taz), Karen (Hamp) Beach; special friends, Cindy, Jackie, Jennifer and Mother Mildred Turner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. noon, Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, Ohio 44307, Minister Rev. Dr. Odinga Lawrence Maddox II, eulogizing. Friends may visit at the chapel from 11 a.m. to the time of service. Procession will form at 1331 Laffer Ave., Akron, Ohio 44305
