The Life of THEODORE CLARK
Theodore "Ted" Clark passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 24, at Iles Grandview Park Chapel, 3211 Hubbell Ave., Des Moines, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Ted was born in Des Moines December 18, 1938 to Ilo and Helen (Edmand) Thompson. He married Doris Fahlk of Des Moines on December 18, 1977. He was a Vietnam veteran, and worked most recently as a mechanical engineer for Eagle Iron Works. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include Ted''s children, Barbara Lyle of Des Moines, Cynthia (Tom) Williams of Villisca, IA, Penny (Tom) Reese of Des Moines, and Barbara (Greg) Watts of Norfolk, NE; grandchildren, Michelle and Renee Williams, and Nicholas and James Lyle; sister, Sandra Stougard; and brother, Robert "Bob" (Lonnie) Clark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; parents; and a brother, James Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson''s Disease Foundation.
