The Life of RONALD WILLIAM CARLSON
Ronald William Carlson, 72, of Des Moines, passed away at home on July 15, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Ron was born April 24, 1941, in Des Moines, to Clarence and Mary (Fauntz) Carlson. He graduated from Tech High School in Des Moines, and worked as an elevator constructor until his retirement. He was a member of IUEC, Local 33.
Ron is survived by his sons and their wives, Randy (Wendy) Carlson of Montezuma, IA, and Kelly (Kelly) Carlson of Des Moines; a daughter, Kim (John) Huebner of Altoona; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
