Pat, 85, of West Des Moines passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at her home. She was surrounded by family, friends, and her caregiver Bonnie.
She is survived by her daughter Jane George, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted, daughter Susan and son John.
Pat lived a full and vibrant life. She was an avid gardener who spent countless hours perfecting her yard. Some of her fondest memories were spent at Wakonda Country Club where she enjoyed golfing with friends and family. Pat, her husband and three other families were affectionately known as the "Big Four." They had many great years and memories together. Pat also really enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pat had a big heart and didn''t have a bad thing to say about anyone, and she will be missed by many.
At her request, there will be no memorial service. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Central Iowa.
