The Life of ROSIE MARINO

Rosie Marino Rosie Marino, 96, formerly of Reading, passed away at Berks Heim on August 18, 2021. Her husband, Romelo J. Marino, passed away on August 25, 2003. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Lugi and Anna (Mazzie) Gioffredi. Rosie was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills and later worked in the catering business for 15 years. She was a member of St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, Reading where she volunteered in the kitchen at the weekly bingo for many years. Rosie enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, loved to cook and spend time with her family. She is survived by her children: Frances J., wife of Barry R. Kauffman, Bernville; Anna L. Hehn, Reading; and Rosemarie widow of Michael Rapp, Reading; and two granddaughters, Danielle, wife of Charles Denis and Nicole Hehn. One brother, Louis Joffred, Sun City, AZ also survives her. Rosie was predeceased by six siblings: Anthony Joffred, Joseph Joffred, Michael Joffred, John Joffred, Grace Orlando, and Antoinette Okonski. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
