The Life of ERIC LEE LANCIAL
Eric Lee Lancial, 31, beloved son of Kevin and Julie Lancial, joined his Heavenly Father on April 16, 2012. Eric was born January 16, 1981 in Des Moines, IA. After high school Eric worked at various jobs until he decided to pursue his lifelong love of music. Eric was a highly gifted guitarist who was well known in the local music scene. He played lead guitar with the group "Hangover" and previously with the group "Vent".
Besides his parents, Eric leaves his sister, Lisa (Shay) Noel; nephew, Brayden Noel; grandparents Beverly Lancial, and Jim and Delores Coleman; aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Greg, and grandfather, Al Lancial.
Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2012, 4–7 p.m., at Grandview Park Funeral Home, 3211 Hubbell, Des Moines. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1701 – 8th St. S.W., Altoona. Interment follows at Highland Memory Gardens.
