The Life of Truman Laurance Saunders Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Truman "Tim" Laurance Saunders, Jr., 80, who passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010.
Reverend John Clark, Pastor of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mr. Saunders was born on May 22, 1929 in Boston, Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Navy before graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Geology. Tim was married to Carolyn A. Saunders and was a retired independent geologist.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn A. Saunders; two daughters, Kim Moore and Jane (Peter) Hearn; three grandchildren, Megan Cire, John Hearn and Stephanie Hearn; and one brother, Dan Saunders of Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six sisters and one twin brother.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Saunders name to the charity of your choice.
