The Life of Ms. Marilyn Munchak

Marilyn Ann Munchak, 84, of Southport, died on December 21, 2020 at the Carolton Chronic & Convalescent Hospital. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Julia (Hevesey) Munchak. Marilyn was a teacher in the Norwalk public schools for over 36 years. She also served as the Girl's Athletic Director at Norwalk High School.

She was a member of the Southern Fairfield County Retired Teachers Association and the Connecticut Association of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private burial was held at Oaklawn Cemetery in Fairfield, with a memorial gathering to be planned for a future time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to the charity of your choice.
