The Life of ANDRES DOMINGUEZ
Andres Dominguez Sr., 87, passed away February 21, 2023, in his Reading residence.
He was the beloved husband of the late Gregoria Dominguez, whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage before her passing in 2013.
Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Valentin and Agustina (Rosario) Dominguez.
Andres was employed by Baldwin Brass in their Assembly Department for over 22 years, before retiring in 1998.
He was a long time parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Andres was a loyal and hardworking man always making sure his family was taken care of. In his free time, he enjoyed simple pleasures such as walking, watching baseball and preparing for his weekly favorite pastime entertainment with his family, WWE Wrestling. He will be loved and truly missed by all he encountered.
Andres is survived by his three children: Andre Jr., husband of Maria Dominguez, Reading; Dennis "Danny", husband of Johanna Dominguez, West Lawn; and Maria Diaz, Reading. He is also survived by a sister, Lydia Sanchez; eleven grandchildren: Giovanni Dominguez, Armanni Dominguez, Alina Craven, Andres Dominguez III, Ariel Dominguez, Anissa Dominguez, Adrian Dominguez, Frankie Collazo, Johnny Collazo, Jacqueline Martinez, and Jasmine Gonzalez; and two great grandchildren, Addilyn Craven and Roby Craven.
He was predeceased by six siblings, Petra Martinez, Alejandro Dominguez, Arcadio Dominguez, Augustin Dominguez, Fernando Dominguez and Margarita Calixto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, with viewing from 10 am to 11 am at the church. Entombment to follow at Gethsemane Mausoleum. A viewing will also be held Thursday, March 2, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Andres' honor may be made to St. Peter's School, 225 S 5th St, Reading, PA 19602. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
