The Life of EVELYN DOROTHY TOWNSEND
Evelyn D. Townsend of Ankeny, formerly of Des Moines died Monday Oct. 17.
Evelyn was born March 15, 1916 to Bert and Minnie Wallace of Des Moines. She is preceded in death by her husband George E. Townsend and two brothers, Glen and Homer Wallace. She is survived by her niece Mrs. Delores Wallace-Willits of Rossville, KS and her nephew H. E. ‘Gene’ Wallace of Des Moines.
Evelyn’s love and devotion to her husband will now be resumed and her love of all of Gods creations will continue in her new life. Graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens at 10:30 AM Friday Oct. 21, 2011.
It is requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to her church Stover Memorial Church of the Brethren.
