The Life of GEORGE HUTCHINSON
George Hutchinson, 89, of 801 NE Fifty-fourth Ave. died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center after a seven-week illness.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hutchinson was a Des Moines native and a retired publishing company employee. He was a member of Marquisville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; two sons, Paul and Reid, both of Des Moines; a stepson, Lloyd Disney of San Francisco, CA; three daughters, Mary Ann Chittick of Ankeny, Georgia Berkenbosch of Prairie City and Jeanette Charles of Phoenix, AZ; a stepdaughter, Rhea Lafferty of Riverside, CA; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
