The Life of MONICA E JOHNSON

Monica E. Johnson, 86, of Cherokee Village, AR, died of a heart ailment Monday at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System there.  Services will be at noon Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Des Moines, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery here.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Bouton and had lived in Des Moines 60 years before moving to Cherokee Village in 1982.  She was the retired co-owner of Westco Products and a member of American Business Women''s Association, Cherokee Village Christian Women''s Association, Cherokee Village Garden Club, Cherokee Village United Methodist Church and Clown Club, where she was known as "Bubbles" the clown.  She received the American Business Women''s Association Woman of the Year Award for Iowa in 1972.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar; two sons, Craig of  Kansas City, MO, and Gary of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Business Women''s Association.
