The Life of PATRICK DALE BAIRD
Patrick Dale Baird died of cancer on April 11, 2004 at the VA Medical Center in Iowa City. A memorial service will be held at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 121 NW 60th Ave. Des Moines, on Thursday, April 15, at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Fern Baird. Pat was born August 30, 1941 in Des Moines. He graduated from East High School and served in the United States Air Force. Pat lived and worked in Des Moines his entire life. Currently, he was employed as a cook at the Dahl''s on EP True Parkway.
Pat is survived by his three brothers, Larry Baird of Des Moines, Matthew Baird of Tulsa, OK, and Richard Baird of Avoca, IA and their families.
