The Life of ORAL G MULLINS
Oral "Moon" Mullins, 93, of 3254 State Street, died of cancer Sunday at Heritage Manor Care Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Capitol Hill Christian Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Mullins was born in Tarkio, MO, and lived in Des Moines since 1933. He worked for Colonial Bakery and Anderson-Erickson several years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Velma; two sons, George of Des Moines and Joe of Middletown, NJ; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church, with an 8 p.m. prayer service. Memorial contributions may be made to his church. Southtown Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
