The Life of JOHN RICHARD HANIFEN JR
John Richard Hanifen, Jr., 40, of 209 S.W. Cherry St., Ankeny, died of a heart ailment Thursday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hanifen was born in Des Moines and had lived in Ankeny all his life. He was a driver with Ankeny Towing.
Survivors include his wife, Lorrie; a son, Jordan, and a daughter, Leigha Hanifen, both of Ankeny; his mother, Marian Hanifen of Tucson, Ariz., and a sister, Joan Crees of Saylorville.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
