The Life of D HERMAN ANTHONY
D Herman Anthony, 50, of 2800 27th Street, died Saturday, March 9, 1957. Mr. Anthony was born in Lamoni on October 14, 1906 and moved to Des Moines in 1941.
He worked as a compositor for The Des Moines Register and Tribune. He was a member of the Daylight Lodge of the Masons; Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; and the Typographical Union #118.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Mae; a daughter, Barbara, of Omaha, NE; a brother, Paul of Des Moines; and two sisters, Mrs. RC Wyokoff, of Frankfurt, Germany, and Mrs. Elmer Ducommon, of Laurens, Iowa.
Services will be at 11:00 am Monday at White, Baumgardner, Mack Funeral Home.
