The Life of CLARENCE PHIBBRICK NORTH
Clarence P. North, 62, of 3614 E. Seventh St. died of a heart attack Thursday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Mr. North lived in Des Moines and was employed by Campbell Heating Co. for 38 years.
He graduated from Iowa State University and was a member of Acacia Fraternity, the Miller Memorial Evangelical United Brethren Church, Auburn Masonic Lodge and Des Moines Consistory.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Arnold''s Highland Park Funeral Home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens.
Surviving are his wife, Lela, a son, Dr. James E. North of Des Moines; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Norris of Decorah and four grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials be in form of contributions to the heart fund.
