The Life of CARLYLE R KNUTSON
Services for Dr. Carlyle R. Knutson, 65, of 330 SW Twelfth St., who died of bronchial pneumonia at Iowa Lutheran Hospital Sunday will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Clifton Heights Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens cemetery.
A Native of Albert Lea, Minn., Dr. Knutson lived here most of his life. He was a graduate from East High School here and the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
He was a member of the Des moines Consistory, the Iowa Dental Association, Post 669 of the American Legion and Auburn Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia; a daughter, Mrs. Karen King; a sister, Mrs. Carmen Henthorne; and two grandchildren, all of Des Moines.
The family suggests memorials in the form of contributions to the Clifton Heights Presbyterian Church building fund.
The body is at Dunn's Funeral Home on SW Ninth St.>>
