The Life of GERALD JAMES HAGMAN
Gerald James Hagman, 66, of 1014 Euclid Ave., died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hagman was born in Boone and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was retired from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and also had worked for the Iowa State Real Estate Commission, the East Des Moines National Bank, Hartley State Bank and Capitol City State Bank. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of Za-Ga-Zig Shrine.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; a daughter, Cheryl Hagman of Indianapolis; two sons, Thomas and William, both of Des Moines; two brothers, Edward of Des Moines and Robert of Copper Canyon, TX; and a grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral hoem. Memorial contributions may be made to the Des Moines Children''s Choruses.
