The Life of NELLIE M ROSE
Services for Nellie M. Rose, 72, of 4026 Colfax Ave., who died of cancer Monday at home, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Rose was born in Oskaloosa and was a Des Moines resident most of her life. She was a program support supervisor for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and a member of the Ankeny Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Donald of Keene, TX, and Walter and Emery, both of Des Moines; two brothers, Robert R. Couch of Kansas City, KS; and Richard L. Beeman of Des Moines; one sister, Edith Thrasher of Plainville, KS; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to her church.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s.
