The Life of THOMAS B TURNER
Services for Thomas E Turner, 61, of 2417 Clark St. will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cottage Grove United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Turner died Sunday at Mercy Hospital of a heart attack.
Born in Melcher, he had lived in Des Moines for 21 years and was a maintenance man for Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. He was a member of Local 310 United Rubber Workers of America.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; one son, T-Sgt. Donald Turner of Topeka, KS; one daughter, Pamela of Pella; and three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Galeazzi of Boone, Mrs. Phillip Miholovich of Des Moines and Mrs. Herman Durham of Moline, IL.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Memorial Fund at the Cottage Grove United Presbyterian Church.
