The Life of LOIS K LANG
Lois K. Lang, 70, of the 300 block of Southeast Grant Street, Ankeny, died of cancer Friday at home. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Private burial of the cremains will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Lang was born in Farmersburg and had lived in Ankeny 39 years. She was a retired library aide with the Ankeny school system and enjoyed cooking, reading and playing cards.
She is survived by her husband, Dayton; a son, Robin D. Hakanson of Ankeny; a sister, Mary Sherman of Fredericksburg, Va.; and two grandchildren.
