The Life of RICHARD DAN MCCRORY
Richard Dan McCrory, 61, of 2905 E. 39th St. died of cancer Thursday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. McCrory, a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. was born in Moravia and rencently returned to Des Moines after leqaving in 1969. Since that time he had lived in California, Texas and Arizona. He was a former mechanic and auto salvage company manger and taught at Northwest Iowa Technical Colleg. Among survivors are his wife, Marilyn' five sons, Danny of Holly wood, Calif, John of Kalona, Paul of South St. Paul Minn. and Ross and David, both of Des Moines; two daughters, Joy Davison of Owatonna, Minn, and Sandy Tijerina of Escondido, Calif; two brother, Loyd of Moravia and Francis of Phoenix Ariz; a sister, Velma Clouse of Norwalk, Calif; and 16 granchildren.
