The Life of BLANCHE E SPECK
Blanche E. Speck, 69, of 4601 Pleasant St., West Des Moines, died of a heart attack Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Speck, retired owner of Norwalk Cleaners, lived in Des Moines most of her life and was a member of the Lutheran church.
She is survived by her husband, Howard, Sr.; a son, Howard Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Norma Weigel and Deborah Greene, and two sisters, Agnes Bosworth and Grace Warren, all of Des Moines; a brother, Leroy Nittler of Reno, NV; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
