The Life of ELLEN J THOMAS
Ellen J. Thomas, 59, of 3804 Shawnee Ave., died of a heart ailment Saturday at home. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Highland Park Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Iowa City and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was employed by Fazio Brokerage Inc., and was a member of the Stewardess Club.
Surviving are her husband, Lewis; two sons, Randy of Troy, MO., and David of Northbrook, IL; a daughter, Kathy Hafke of Arvada, CO; her mother, Ina Mae Freeman of Raymore, MO; a sister, Wanda Foster of Blue Springs, MO; and a brother, Donald Freeman of Mesa, AZ.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church, Ramsey Home or the Lupus Foundation of America. Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton''''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
