The Life of HOMER A STONE
Services for Homer A. Stone, 58, of 4115 Fifty-fifth St., who died of a heart attack Friday at Iowa Methodist Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Stone, a native of Kansas City, had lived in Des Moines for 25 years and was a clerk for the Veterans Administration. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his wife, Helen A.; two stepsons, Charles Peacock of Jacksonville, FL; and Virgil Peacock of Cornelius, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Hester Saddler of Torrance, CA, Neva Stone of Chatsworth, CA, and Mrs. Bertha Wingate of Sylmar, CA; a brother Owen of Zapata, TX; and 10 grandchildren.
