The Life of GLEN ALLEN LOWDER
Services for Glen A. Lowder, 74, of 829 E Twenty-eighth Court, who died of cancer Monday at his home, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Simpson United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Indiana, Mr. Lowder moved to Des Moines when he was 19. He was a retired meter reader and collector for Iowa Power and Light Co. and was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eveline; two daughters, Sharon Hanson of Des Moines and Shirley Warrick of Prescott, AZ; three sister, Mary Burch, of Greenfield, AZ, Lenna Grissom of Anderson, IN, and Verna Silvey of Tucson, AZ; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions are suggested to his church.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
