Ruth B. Saltzman, 82, of Bettendorf died of cancer Saturday at Iowa Masonic Home there. The body was cremated, and no services are planned.
She was born in Colfax. She worked as a jail matron for the Polk County Sheriff''s Deparement before moving from the Des Moines area in 1979. She retired in 1985 from Hewlett Packard in San Jose, CA, and later mover to Bettendorf.
