The Life of DORIS M GRESDAL
Doris Gresdal, 47, of 6715 Hickmna Road, Urbandale, was found dead in her mobile home Tuesday evening by police.
Dr. R.C. Wooters, Polk County medical examiner, said Mrs. Gresdal died of a heart attack and had been dead since Saturday morning.
Police said she was last seen at 10 a.m. Saturday at a local laundry. A neighbor called police Tuesday evening when she noticed the trailer''s lights were on but the doors were locked. Mrs. Gresdal lived alone.
Police said the woman had a history of epilepsy and heart problems.
Services for Mrs. Gresdal will be at noon Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Chicago, she had lived in the Des Moines area 30 years and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She is survived by her grandmother, Mrs. Jennie Courter, who lives in California.
